Red on cream painted pottery from the Early Neolithic Period is a regular find at excavations of settlements like Hacılar, Kuruçay, Höyücek, and Bademağacı located at the Burdur–Antalya region of Turkey. In terms of Anatolian prehistory, the area is known to be one of the best explored provinces.
