Technology of porous alumina coating on stainless steel substrate was examined for the development of the environmental catalytic part, which was used under heat condition. Although oxidation resistance of stainless steel (SUS304) was not so high, the stable coat layer was made through a simple dipping-drawing procedure of ƒÁ-Al2O3 slurry.
