Sunset yellow is one of the dyes used in food and other allied industries having yellow to orange red color existing as an environmental contaminant. ... ation using an adapted alkaliphile Pseudomoas DL7 isolated from Lonar Lake(MS) Buldana .600mg/LSunset Yellow FCF was found completely degraded within 48 hrs. 4-aminonaphthalene-5, 6 diol, 1-sulfonic acid, 4-aminonaphthalene-1-sulfonic acid, catechol were confirmed as a catabolites by GCMS. pH 9.00 was found optimum for biomineralization. Enzyme induction study showed the experimental bacteria actively plays important role in biomineralization.
