Due to the dramatic increasing relevance of automotive electrification, new data driven business models and cross domain services based on E/E and software innovations vehicles are evolving to smart connected systems including smart vehicle functions and services [1] . These smart product-service systems are enabled by further integration of new microelectronic components, which in turn require long term innovation roadmapping integrating all automotive value network partners. In order to enable future innovations for smart vehicles and to reduce the time-tomarket in smart mobility engineering innovative processes, methods and IT tools for cross-sectoral collaboration are required, especially with focus on embedded microelectronics.
