The combination of carbamide peroxide, thiocyanate or enzymes such as amynoglucosidase or gluco-oxidase is able to reduce gingival inflammation. Objective: To evaluate antiseptic efficacy, in relation to reduced gingival bleeding, of a new dentifrice containing carbamide peroxide and lactorperoxidase.
