Reactions of (1) with different metal isoproposides in 1 : 2 molar ratio yield a novel class of heterobimetallic

Reactions of [VO(OGO)2 {Ti(OPri )3 }]2 (3) with an excess MeOH and Me3COH afford [VO(OGO)2 {Ti(OMe)3 }]2 (5) and [VO(OGO)2 {Ti(OCMe3 )3 }]2 (6), respectively. All of these new complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, molecular weight measurements, and spectroscopic (IR, 1H, 13C, 27Al, 51V NMR) studies.
