Radiological analysis of intraarterial chemotherapeutic effects in osteogenic sarcoma: focussed on MRI and IA DSA findings
1991
Journal of the Korean Radiological Society
For the evaluation of the effect of intraarterial chemotherapy with CDDP (cis-diaminedichloroplatinum) in the treatment of osteogenic sarcoma. we compared radiographic findings of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and intraartcrial digital subtraction angiography (IA DSA) with the degree oftumor necrosis in pathologic specimens. The d ecrease in neovascularity and tumor stain in IA DSA showed good correlation with tumor response (necrosis) to IA chemoth erapy ' MRI was useful in the localization
