A Systematic Review of Published Articles in CASELE Journal 1-49: Focusing on Their Themes, Methods and Contexts

This study aims to review 908 published articles in CASELE Research Bulletin 1-49 from the viewpoints of research themes, methods and contexts in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Chugoku Convention. As a result, the following three features were revealed: 1) research themes have shifted from teaching to learning; 2) more and more empirical methods have been adopted, and 3) high schools have been major research contexts as well as universities.
