The study evaluated the peri-operative analgesic efficacy of tramadol administered by constant rate infusion as an adjunct to ketoprofen in ovariohysterectomized bitches. Pre- and postoperative assessment of pain was made using physiologic parameters, glucose, cortisol, pain score and body weight.
