This paper presents a new derivative superposition scheme for simultaneous cancellation of second and third-order distortions in common-gate transconductance stage of mixer, addressing the challenging dynamic range required in multi-mode front-end CMOS circuits. Using Volterra series analysis, the unsatisfactory results of conventional derivative superposition in common-gate structures, and thus the need for simultaneous cancellation is investigated.
