Trauma of the larynx and the trachea is unsusual, but once it occurs, management is not easy. A 32 year old man who suffered from a contusion on the anterior neck during a traffic accident is reported. Before laryngo-plasty, thyroidal cartilage fracture and dislocation of the cricoarytenoid joint were diagnosed by three dimensional CT. Surgery was performed by open incision one month after the collision. The lack of a left vocal cord was supplemented with neck skin graft. Three weeks later, the
