This study investigated the relationship of family disputes with psychological identity among a sample of 348 adolescents chosen from various first and second secondary classes, using a measure of family disputes domain (family problems, personal and psychological problems). The correlation coefficients were moderate and ranged between .50 and .83. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.87, 0.90 for the two domains, respectively.
