Work is in progress towards development of the "energy-pressure-velocity-scalar filtered mass density function" (EPVS-FMDF) as a new subgrid scale (SGS) model for large eddy simulation (LES) of high-speed turbulent flows. This is an extension of the previously developed "velocity-scalar filtered mass density function" method in low-speed flows.
