The religious and social events of Yazidis are related to the movement of the sun (Mithra / Tawousi king) and their impact on the climate cycle. The rituals of Blunde / Batzmi / Korka Kay / Khulasar / Bireh Chnoki, are held, which all related to the birth of Mithra. In the Mid-February, "Eid Khadralias," the feast of love , goodness, blessing, and development is celebrated, in which slaughtering is prohibited, and make a candy of beans, to get ready for the spring as a sign of a birth of the new year.
