The UK referendum on EU membership on 23 June 2016 is thought to have been a watershed moment in European integration and globalisation more broadly. It was quickly followed by the election of Donald Trump as president of the United States on an explicitly "America First" agenda with strong anti-globalisation elements. It seems that anti-globalisation forces have become mainstream. Our workshop will bring together leading researchers working on the distributional consequences of globalisation
