Hydroxyapatite due to its excellent biocompatibility, bioactivity and osteoconductivity is widely used in orthopedic, dental, and maxillofacial applications for bone reconstruction. Nanoparticles of hydroxyapatite, which are prepared synthetically, have chemical and structural similarity with nature hydroxyapatite of bones and teeth.
