In this paper, we present a new model of "Transforming Learning" (TL) which incorporates key elements of cognitive, affective, conative, and applied behavioral learning that can result in enhanced student learning compared to traditional cognitively-focused teaching methods. After introducing the TL model as a resource for improving student learning, we compare this TL model with the Theory of Reasoned Action and identify how behavioral intention and the learning process are similar.
