We identify the dominant emission processes in 3C 270 in the infrared to be nonthermal, and emission from its dusty disk does not contribute significantly to the total infrared output. This implies that such disks can be hard to find through their infrared emission, and that any circumnuclear torus, if at all present, is small and thin.doi:10.1017/s1743921304001504 fatcat:v7yq2n2uxngptgus4qoiuj3qwi
