In this study, four AISI 430 (EN 1.4016) steel samples of different initial composition and annealing treatment were submitted to uni-axial tension deformation. The assupplied and deformed materials were characterized by electron channelling contrast imaging, electron backscatter diffraction and electron probe microanalysis.
