The purpose of this research is to develop the Executive Understandings Scale and to examine its validity and reliability. The study was conducted on a total of 340 people, 180 of whom were women and 160 were men. Research data were obtained in the spring of 2019. Research data has a 5-point Likert-type rating of 1 "always" and 5 "never" in the Executive Understanding Scale. Corrected item-total correlation coefficients were calculated for the item analysis of the scale. The construct validity

Validity and reliability analyzes were performed with the SPSS-25 package program. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis applied for the construct validity of the Executive Perceptions Scale, a unidimensional 30-item measurement tool with an eigen-value of 15.79 was obtained, which explained 52.63% of the total variance. The KMO sample fit coefficient of the scale was found to be .96. The factor loadings of the scale range from .39 to .84. The results of confirmatory factor analysis show that the model's goodness-offit indices are at an acceptable level. When exploratory factor analysis was performed for the construct validity of the scale, it was seen that the scale was a one-dimensional measurement tool consisting of 30 items. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency reliability coefficient was found to be .96. The corrected item-total correlation coefficients of the scale ranged from .37 to .82. When all these findings regarding the validity and reliability of the scale are examined, it can be said that the Managerial Understandings Scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool and can be used in studies to be conducted on the subject.
