У статті зроблено спробу здійснити порівняльний аналіз варіантних форм лексем зафіксованих / не зафіксованих в тлумачних лексикографічних працях та мовленні журналістів, дикторів, кореспондентів, учасників інтерв'ю новинних та суспільно-політичних YouTube-каналів, сучасних письменників, пересічних мовців; зосереджено увагу на першорядних чинниках, що забезпечують динаміку пуристичних процесів в українському суспільстві, впливають на продукування мовцями нових, варіантних форм лексем; висловлено припущення про причини відсутності фіксації в словниках часто вживаної «пуристично здизайнованої» мовцями лексики; висунуто пропозиції щодо перегляду реєстрових одиниць у великих тлумачних лексикографічних джерелах. Висновувано про фіксацію в означених джерелах паралельних форм «запозичене -українське» або ж «запозичене -модифіковане українське», одна з яких може бути вилучена, оскільки сьогодні мовці вживають її вкрай рідко; наявне й потлумачення лише запозичених слів без часто вживаних мовцями варіантних форм. В умовах виразних рис оберігання української мови від впливу іншомовних запозичень в цілому й дерусифікації її лексикону зокрема до тлумачних словників варто ввести (можливо, з ремаркою «розмовне») пуристичні замінники часто вживаних мовцями варіантних форм лексем; ілюстративний матеріал добирати не лише зі зразків української художньої літератури минулого, а й сучасності, мови засобів масової комунікації, повсякдення тощо. Це дасть змогу осучаснити (згідно з вимогами сьогодення) реєстрові одиниці в тлумачних лексикографічних працях, зберегти оригінальність і своєрідність української мови. Variational forms of loan lexemes as a manifestation of puristic processes in modern Ukrainian. Linguistic purism is a manifestation of metalinguistic ability which enables a person to assess their own and other people' language / speech, as well as formulate and express their attitude to other persons, events, and phenomena. Puristic trends appear in all cultures and linguistic communities at a certain stage of their development. A public demand for purification of the language is an important factor in preserving the authenticity and originality of the language. The role of intellectuals, public figures and mass media in this process is crucial. The article attempts to conduct a comparative analysis of variational forms of lexemes recorded / not recorded in explanatory lexicographical works and in the speech of journalists, presenters, reporters, participants of interviews on news and socio-political YouTube channels, modern writers and ordinary speakers; attention is focused on primary factors that ensure the dynamics of puristic processes in the Ukrainian society, and influence speakers' generation of new, variational forms of lexemes; the author makes an assumption on the reasons for the absence of dictionary entries for vocabulary that was "puristically designed" by speakers; and offers suggestions regarding revision of registered units in large explanatory lexicographical sources. It has been concluded that parallel forms "borrowed -Ukrainian" or "borrowed -modified Ukrainian" were recorded in the above-mentioned sources; one of the forms may be excluded as present-day speakers tend to use it very seldom; often, there is only an interpretation of loan words without the variational forms frequently used by speakers. In conditions of distinct measures taken to protect Ukrainian from the influence of loan words in general, and to continue the de-Russification of its lexicon, it is worth introducing, particularly into explanatory dictionaries (possibly, with the note "colloquial"), the puristic replacements for variational lexemes frequently used by speakers; illustrative examples should be selected not only from Ukrainian fiction of the past centuries, but also from modern sources, mass media language, everyday life discourse etc. Therefore, we will be able to modernize (bring into compliance with present-day requirements) the registered units in explanatory lexicographical works, and preserve the authenticity and originality of Ukrainian.
