Multilevel inverters are considered as one of the best solutions for high power and medium voltage applications due to their reduced THD, dv/dt stresses, lower switching frequency, reduced EMI and EMC issues etc. This paper presents the analysis and comparison of three level Flying Capacitor (FC) or Capacitor Clamped multilevel inverter and Modular Multilevel Converter (MMCs) topologies.
