Abstracc Engineering services, including a test facility and procedures, were established to evaluate the performance of RC-line encoded position-sensitive proportional counters (FSPCs) by measuring linearity, sensitivity, spatial resolution, and energy resolution. Engineering support and technical assistance are provided to an increasing number of users of these PSPCs, and, therefore, these services bridge the gap between the PSPC development engineer ,md the users of this new technology at ORNL.
