Design of a copper cavity for HLS

A 204MHz all copper RF cavity was designed for the phase II project of Hefei Light Source (HLS). The requirements of the storage ring, which will operate in General Purpose Light Source (GPLS) mode and High Brightness Light Source (HBLS) mode, determine the main parameters of the cavity. On the basis of the simulation of SUPERFISH, three kinds of cavity shape were designed, and one optimum shape was selected at last.
