In 2015, Canada's national security law landscape received some long-overdue attention in the form of Bill C-51, the Anti-Terrorism Act 2015. It was the culmination of a series of smaller initiatives that had given attention to national security law in Canada, but also a direct response to two terrorist attacks that left two Canadians dead in October 2014.
