Spatial reuse has been shown to be critical for efficient wireless networks. It is also well known that cooperative communication has the potential to significantly improve the network performance. How does cooperation affect the spatial reuse design in wireless networks? To answer this question, we investigate the impact of reuse on the throughput of multihop linear cooperative networks.
