We report 3 pediatric cases of bacterial meningitis secondary to Mondini dysplasia of the inner ear. The dysplasia was unilateral in case 1 and bilateral in case 2. Surgery was perfomed for recurrent meningitis in both patients and there was no postoperative recurrence. In case 3, Dysplasia was unilateral and there was only a single episode of meningitis. Surgery has not been perfomed. and continued follow up will be required. Ear disease should be considered in children with bacterial meningitis, especially recurrent meningitis.
