This study aims to compare the primary energy consumed when receiving heat from a DHC plant and that when operating a VRF system; the comparison was performed via simulation. Building floors and zones are selected as research subjects in real buildings that receive their heat from a DHC plant; the energy consumed are calculated using realistic heat loads.
