Comparison of Primary Energy Consumption of DHC and VRF Systems Based on Realistic Heat Loads
This study aims to compare the primary energy consumed when receiving heat from a DHC plant and that when operating a VRF system; the comparison was performed via simulation. Building floors and zones are selected as research subjects in real buildings that receive their heat from a DHC plant; the energy consumed are calculated using realistic heat loads. In the case of VRF, the air conditioning equipment for simulation is set to the same as the building and the energy consumption of VRF is
