Domain-specific modeling as an enabling technology for small and medium-sized enterprises

In this paper, we present experiences and the outcomes of applying domain-specific modeling techniques to the domain of diagnostic systems within an industry project. The purpose of the project was to develop a diagnostic system that is easy to configure to different facilities without a deeper knowledge of software development.
