Purpose] The purpose of this study was to identify factors related to the discharge destination of 126 patients who underwent acute rehabilitation. [Subjects and Methods] We assessed Activities of Daily Living (ADL) of 126 patients, based on the Functional Independence Measure (FIM) score at discharge and analyzed whether the FIM score was useful for predicting the outcome by discriminant analysis. [Results] The correct classification rate of our model was 93.7%. Control of excretion, self

[Conclusion] ADL is a useful indicator of the discharge destination of patients undergoing acute rehabilitation. Further research is needed to improve our model, so that it includes disease characteristics and social factors.
