In addition to imaging, radionuclide venography (RNV) can also be used for the post-therapy evaluation of patients with superior vena cava syndrome (SVGS) by utilizing the indices of transit time (TT), time of half peak count (TH) and peak count ratio (PC ratio). [Methods] Using Tc-99m MAA, RNV was performed twice, before and after anti-cancer therapy, on 30 patients having SVCS due to lung cancer.
