Localization and segmentation of aortic endografts using marker detection

A method for localization and segmentation of bifurcated aortic endografts in computed tomographic angiography (CTA) images is presented. The graft position is determined by detecting radiopaque markers sewn on the outside of the graft. The user indicates the first and the last marker, whereupon the remaining markers are automatically detected.
