Inhibitory activities of two newly synthesized oxim ether compounds with juvenile hormone activity, S-21149[propionaldehyde oxime O-2-(4-phenoxyphenexy)ethyl ether] and S-21150[propionaldehyde oxime O-2-(4-phenoxyphenoxy)propyl ether] on adult emergence were evaluated on housefly, Musca domestica L. S-21150 showed higher inhibitory activity than S-21149, and both showed higher activity than rnethoprene in the artificial and chicken manure mediums on eggs or larvae.
