A rapid and simple capillary electrophoresis method has been developed for the simultaneous determination of six extensively used cephalosporin antibiotics (cefaclor, cefadroxil, cefalexin, cefuroxim, ceftazidim and ceftriaxon). The determination of cephalosporins was performed at pH 6.8, using a 25 mM phosphate/25 mM borate mixed buffer, and a voltage of 25 kV at a temperature of 25 °C.
