The quarries in eastern Saudi Arabia are widely scattered, vary in area and form. There are causing environmental impacts on humans, soil, and vegetation. more » ... The results showed that there were 38 sites including 243 quarries in Eastern Saudi Arabia, with an area of 1640.71 km 2 , randomly clustered spatial pattern. It led to the deformation of the natural appearance in 657.96 km 2 . The dust from these pits also caused damage to agricultural land on an area of 23.63 km 2 and wild plants on an area of 3.85km 2 . The main roads were damaged at a distance of 77.30 km, and dirt roads by distance of 41.93 km. In addition, the population became sick. The study recommends that the locations of stone quarry should be selected considering the prevailing winds in the area, and that geological surveys be conducted to identify areas suitable for quarantine exploration to prevent the random spread of quarrying.
