In this study, it was aimed to carry out the design, electromagnetic analysis and noise-vibration analysis of a 3 phase, high efficient surface mounted permanent magnet motor with power level of 7.5kW and 1500rpm speed. Using basic analytical formulas initial design geometry of motor was obtained. This first design geometry was investigated in detail by electromagnetic analyzes.
