Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar alguns dos resultados obtidos na dissertação de mestrado "A escravidão esquecida: a administração indígena em Jundiaí durante o século XVIII". Em especial, aqueles que se referem às possibilidades interpretativas oferecidas pela chamada cerâmica "neo-brasileira" no contexto das terras Paulistas do período colonial.
