This dissertation will be reviewed, based on the literature that exists and is applied at European and national level for disposable bioplastics and plastics. ... adable plastics have different consumption patterns, therefore they need different application technologies in the way of waste management. This part, however, is not analyzed in more detail in this paper. The work will consist of two parts. The first part will be related to a literature review on plastic waste, disposable plastic products and what it entails as well as bioplastics. The second part of the work will consist of the legal framework that has been and is being applied to plastic products, disposable plastics and bioplastics. The second part will also report on the strategies implemented at European and national level as well as the conclusions that emerged from the conduct of this dissertation.
