This paper aims to critically examine the scope of the legal and economic mechanisms of environmental protection, through a critical review from the theoretical perspective and practice of Anticapitalism. The methodology involves interdisciplinary qualitative research grounded in the Critical Theory, through the theoretical and methodological framework of historical and dialectical materialism, articulating Law, Politics and Economics.
