Examiner sex bias and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children scores

The wise (excluding Mazes and Digit Span) was administered to 64 thirdgrade children, randomly selected for 10. Eight examiners, four males and four females, each tested eIght c~ildren, four boys and four girls. Ful I Scale 10 scores, as wei I as Verbal 10, Comprehension, Similarities, and Vocabulary scores, were significantly affected by sex of examiner.
