This paper surveyed the impact of Web developmental stages on academic libraries in Nigeria. It concluded that technology has proven to be the future of information management and dissemination. It, therefore, urged librarians/libraries to embrace technologies and move with the trend in the information industry. The paper recommended the incorporation of computer science in library schools to train librarians who are ICT-competent to drive the course of ICT-compliant libraries.
