Coulomb Displacement Energy of the f7/2 State of the 48Ca

The Couldmb displacement energy of the T = 4, ] = 0 state of the 4SCa is analyzed. By modifying a previous method of the calculation of the core polarization correction, it is found that the charge symmetry breaking force, which has been introduced previously so as to help to explain the N olen·Schiffer anomaly of the T = 1/ 2 system, is also needed in this system, while there still exists an ambiguity in the type of the force.
