Knowledge management is important for software development, whether this is done using traditional or agile methods. In an exploratory survey on how agile and traditional companies view current practice and future importance of knowledge management approaches, we found that agile companies seem to be more satisfied with their knowledge management approaches when compared to traditional companies.
