The complex [(n7Bu3P)(Cl)Pt]3(triquinolobenzene-3H+) is obtained from the trisodium salt of triquinolobenzene and (nBu3P)(Cl)Pt(μ-Cl)2Pt(Cl)nBu3) and has been characterized by X-ray diffraction. The three platinum atoms are syn positioned outside of the not ideal plane of the triquinolobenzene frame.
