Soil fertility was analysed in an agricultural area which forms a part of Nalgonda district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Soil samples were collected from 102 locations and analysed for various parameters such as pH, EC, ORP, soil texture, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, sulphate, calcium carbonate, CEC and base saturation percentage. High concentration of ions such as magnesium, sodium and potassium was observed in this area. Calcium and sulphate were deficient; calcium carbonate was low; CEC
