QT interval dispersion has been used to estimate ventricular repolarization inhomogeneities. We induced regional lengthening and shortening of ventricular repolarization in the in-situ of porcine heart. Repolarization inhomogeneities were determined by monitoring dispersion in activation recovery intervals from epicardial electrograms.
