Context: The TISSUE (Teaching Introductory Study Skills Utilizing Experience) program was created to provide exposure to the anatomical sciences for students who had not taken courses in anatomy and/or histology, had not received an undergraduate degree in a science concentration, and/or who had not been recently involved in an academic setting.
