AbstractGlycosaminoglycans are sulfated polysaccharide molecules, essential for many biological processes. The 6-O sulfation of glycosaminoglycans is carried out by carbohydrate 6-O sulfotransferases (C6OST), previously named Gal/GalNAc/GlcNAc 6-O sulfotransferases.
