Effect of HF Welding Process Parameters and Post Heat Treatment in the Development of Micro Alloyed HSLA Steel Tubes for Torsional Applications
2017
Journal of Material Science & Engineering
The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of High frequency (HF) Electric resistance welding process parameters and post heat treatment on the torsional fatigue life of micro alloyed HSLA steel tubes. Micro alloyed grades exhibit higher strength and formability owing to the presence of fine recrystallized ferritic grains due to thermo mechanical treatment and presence of alloying elements like Vanadium, Niobium and Titanium. Welded tubular components made of micro alloyed HSLA
