This paper seeks to determine what modifications have been made to systems of production and to forms of production and commercialization in artisan manufacturing. It is centred on showing the situation in the commercial environment of the artisan units, and the strategies they have developed in order to survive and offer products in the market for decorative articles. The methodology adopted is that of a case study conducted through semi-structured interviews with the owner of the workshop, and participatory observation, in 2010.
